Bucéphale is a horse of legend, the steed of Alexander the Great, the toughest conqueror the world has yet produced. This faithful horse, which only Alexander could ride, is said to have covered more than 60,000 km in theaters of war, facing tigers and elephants on the battlefields of India, according to historians of the period such as Plutarch and Arrien.
Since the dawn of time, the horse has been the fundamental ally in the development of mankind, right up to the industrial era. Today, the horse continues to fascinate mankind with the contrast between its fluidity of movement and a brute force unmatched in the animal world.
The horse has been a common thread in our development. We’ve tried to reproduce the osmosis that exists between a rider and his steed, and once you’ve tamed your bike (the first time you’ll be able to ride it preferably at the zenith…) you’ll see that we’ve built a very high-level cockpit, allowing you to ride safely on a 60% gradient. Our XL size puts the top steering column more than a meter above the ground, a record in the category.
The bike’s appearance, with strong hindquarters and a top tube reminiscent of the animal’s withers, is matched by a robustness comparable to that of a powerful, indestructible horse.
First and foremost, we’ve worked on mass centering and bike agility. With 29″ wheels at the front and high frame stiffness, you benefit from precise steering.
At the rear, you have the choice of a full 29″ output or the MX 27.5″ offering greater manoeuvrability on steep inclines and technical climbs.

To fulfill its function to the full, we’ve equipped our frame with the best components on the market. We started with Ohlins suspension, then entrusted shimano with the transmission and braking, Astérion with the wheels, equipped by the only tire manufacturer in France: Hutchinson, and finally entrusted the telescopic seatpost to the excellent Bike Yoke. The crankset was treated in our own way, to achieve otherworldly strength and performance.
